Our Son-in-Law, Todd

Just thought I'd brag on my son-in-law (Todd Eaton) for a moment.  We're so proud of him.

Last year he graduated with a BS from Lancaster Bible College and this year his full time employer, the state of Vermont, is paying 90% of his college tuition for him to get his masters in engineering/business management.  We know God has had a great plan all along, even when Ruth (our daughter) and Todd and Sammi wanted to move here to be closer to Grandpa John and Grandma Kelly.

Many of you prayed (Thank you!) for Ruth and Todd over their 10 years of marriage, due to the spiritual state of the church they were attending early in their marriage.  Thanks to our God and His work (in ALL of our lives) and His amazing grace, our wonderful son-in-law has matured into an incredible, godly, solid, wise man.

I believe one timely trip to the Basics Conference opened Todd's eyes -- not the teaching so much but the witness of our own men at Warrenton Bible Fellowshiphow they talked about God and knew Him intimately.

Thank you men, for your unknown investment, netting eternal rewards for you in heaven.

I appreciate Todd so much -- for the way he loves our daughter and granddaughter and personally, for the encouragement he's been to me and John.  But he's also a man who thinks about God, one who ponders.  I love that because I'm a ponderer too.  So, with that in mind...

I'm posting the link to Todd's blog, in case you'd like to read his insights/ponderings on Jacob for your edification -- to learn more about Jacob and maybe even a little about Todd.

Thanks for your continued prayers for our children (our son Jason too!) and grands (baby Alistair John Eaton, coming June 2014!).
